Courtney Briggs: From Meth Addiction to Restoration

Hi everyone, my name is Courtney Briggs and I’m a single mom of two from Lubbock, Texas. I was raised in the church, but when I was young, I was molested by my stepdad and started using drugs to numb the pain. I got involved with methamphetamines and ended up homeless and losing my children.

One day, I was about to shoot up a whole gram of meth when I asked God for help. I ended up getting arrested and that’s when my life changed for the good. I’m now nine years clean and sober and I’m here to share my story of addiction and deliverance. I want to show people that there is life after addiction and that you are worthy. I put my trust in God and He restored everything that was taken from me.
